Since 2021, the Val de Trie campsite is part of the Welcome Camping group. Welcome Camping is the reference chain for small campsites in France, which remain independent.

The Val de Trie campsite have chosen fishing and the observation of fauna and flora as its theme. There is a fishing pond accessible to all guests 100m away from the campsite where carp, perch and eels can be found. A mini farm is also accessible 500 m away from the campsite where donkeys, cows, sheeps and goats are waiting for you to feed them. The mini farm is a perfect place for family memories and animal lovers.

The campsite is near the Baie de Somme (approx 20 mins), one of the most beautiful Bay of the world and classified in the UNESCO World Heritage. There is the Marquenterre park, where 300 species of migratory birds and geese come for nesting or hibernation. You can also take advantage of the annual Bird Festival (Festival de l’oiseau), where you will find a wide variety of birds, exhibitions, guided nature walks, etc.

Don’t miss the largest French seal colony, which has taken up residence in the bay. 400 calf seals and 100 grey seals rest at low tide on emerged sandbanks.

The Val de Trie campsite is an ecological campsite that respect the environment. It’s very well located, in a quiet place surrounded by nature where the birds never stop singing. And as an added bonus, it is only 20 minutes from the sea.

This is a very quiet campsite with a warm family atmosphere.

You can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the green valley of the Trie, in the heart of the Baie de Somme.
